When all available copies of a title are checked out, or if a title is shelved at a library that is not in your neighborhood, a hold (reserve) can be placed on that particular item. Holds can be placed by phone, in person, or online. A step-by-step guide to placing holds through our online catalog is available.
A valid library card (with less than $10.00 in fines on it) is needed to place holds. Holds may not be placed on reference material and feature film videocassettes and DVDs. The maximum number of items a person can place on hold is at any one time is 25. You will be contacted by phone or email when your hold is available.
