Are you interested in being a part of the Library Card Challenge? All the information you need to get started is available in one handy brochure, including information about prizes and how your school can participate.

To help kick off the Library Card Challenge, the Friends of the Public Library are hosting a special used booksale for teachers at their Warehouse on Wednesday, September 21 and Thursday, September 22 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. During the sale teachers will be able to:

• Save an extra 20% on purchases
• Choose from a selection of over 100,000 gently used books (for all ages and in all subjects) starting at 50¢ each
• Shop for dictionaries, atlases, encyclopedias, CDs, videos, DVDs, and comic books
• Register to win a $50 gift certificate for the Friends Warehouse
• Enjoy refreshments and chat with other educators

Cash, checks, VISA, MasterCard, or a school purchase requisition will be accepted at the sale.
