Although the majority of the titles are housed in the Main Library’s Magazines and Newspapers Department, you’ll find a circulating collection of popular magazines in the Popular Library and all the branches. Genealogy magazines are shelved in the Genealogy & Local History Department, magazines for children are kept in the Children’s Learning Center, and periodicals published by the Government Printing Office can be found in the Information & Reference Department. With the exception of the magazines in the Popular Library and the branches, all material in the departments is reference only, and cannot be checked out.
