In conjunction with Miami University-Hamilton, Northwest Local School District, Fairfield City School District, and Lane Public Library, we are participating in a three-year grant project funded by the U.S. Department of Education. The goal of the program is to raise student achievement by improving teachers’ knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of American history, focusing on the formative years of 1492-1836. Our library and Lane Public Library are providing resources to support the curriculum needs of teachers participating in the program.
