Charles D. Lindberg was first appointed to the Board of Library Trustees in 1982 by the Board of County Commissioners of Hamilton County. Since his initial appointment he has served on numerous Board committees including the Community & Public Relations, Finance & Audit, Legislative Affairs & Law, and Library Services & Administration Committees. He served as Vice President of the Board in 2006 and Board President in 2007.
Of counsel at the law firm of Taft, Stettinius & Hollister LLP, Mr. Lindberg is also on the Board of Trustees of Augustana (Illinois) College. He serves as Trustee of Knowlton Foundation and previously served on the Board of the Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Cincinnati Center for Economic Development.
Mr. Lindberg, a graduate of the Yale Law School, was elected to the Cincinnati Board of Education from 1970–1974, and served twice as the President. He is a resident of Mt. Washington.
