Allen G. Zaring IVAllen G. Zaring IV was appointed by the Hamilton County Commissioners as a Library Trustee on December 15, 2010. He has served as a Director of the Library Foundation since 2006 and currently serves as Chairman of the Foundation Board. In addition, Mr. Zaring served on the Library Levy Campaign Committee in 2009.
Mr. Zaring is a registered investment advisor specializing in alternative investments. As Director for the Americas with Currency Insight Ltd., an asset management firm headquartered in London, his focus is on investment structure for U.S. institutional clients. Previously, Mr. Zaring served as Managing Director for the ZAR Fund Group. He received a B.S. in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Babson College and is a graduate of the OPM Program at the Harvard Business School.
Mr. Zaring is also a member of the finance and capital committees of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and is on the Board of Directors of the Harvard Business School Alumni Association. He formerly served on the board of advisors of the Xavier University Entrepreneurship Center, the economic development advisory committee of the Greater Cincinnati Foundation, and as co-chair of the effective governance committee for Agenda 360.
Mr. Zaring lives in Columbia-Tusculum with his wife and three children.
