About the Department
In 2007, a dynamic new service model was developed for the Main Library. Under this new plan, the TechCenter, a new department that emphasizes access to a broad spectrum of technological applications, was formed. The department houses nearly 100 computers which support:
- Accessing the Internet, the Library’s Catalog and collection of databases
- Utilizing productivity software including the Microsoft Office Professional Suite
- Playing Library CDs and DVDs
- Downloading digital books, audiobooks, videos, and music
- Burning CDs and DVDs
The Collection
