About the Department

In 2007, a dynamic new service model was developed for the Main Library. Under this new plan, the TechCenter, a new department that emphasizes access to a broad spectrum of technological applications, was formed. The department houses nearly 100 computers which support:

• Accessing the Internet, the Library’s Catalog and collection of databases
• Utilizing productivity software including the Microsoft Office Professional Suite
• Playing Library CDs and DVDs
• Downloading digital books, audiobooks, videos, and music
• Burning CDs and DVDs

The Collection
