Beatles fans won’t be able to resist the series of programs, concerts, and exhibits taking place this summer to commemorate the fortieth anniversary of the one of the most significant events in pop culture history—the Beatles’ American debut.
Programs
Relive the Beatles’ first visit to Cincinnati through the eyes of those who experienced them first hand, featuring radio personality Dusty Rhodes, one of the “WSAI Good Guys,” who helped bring the Beatles to Cincinnati in 1964 and David Bracey, who covered the 1964 concert for The Cincinnati Enquirer. After the panel, stay and listen to acoustic performances of Beatles songs.

Stories, Crafts, and Sing-Along for all ages!
Come to the Library in your favorite Sixties garb to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Beatles concert in Cincinnati!

Eight Days a Week Concert

Seasongood Pavilion, Eden Park
Bring a picnic lunch to Seasongood Pavilion (near the Cincinnati Art Museum) and enjoy a Beatles musical tribute by Eight Days a Week. Hear recreations of John, Paul, George, and Ringo as they perform in costume on instruments from the mid-1960s. Sponsored by Miami University Intercollegiate Athletics and the Library.
Exhibits
Assembled by area collectors and members of the Beatles Boosters Club, this exhibit includes memorabilia, photographs, dolls and figurines, magazines, books, Beatles and 60s era clothing, and musical instruments.
