Robert Sabuda, the renowned children’s book author and artist, is going to be at the Main Library on Saturday, November 18 and we’re throwing a party to celebrate! Sabuda (also known as the “Prince of Pop-Up”) will kick the fun off with a presentation about his work and the art of creating pop-up books. After his presentation, kids will have the opportunity to make their own pop-up works of art at the activity stations staffed by represntatives from the Weston Art Gallery, Art Academy of Cincinnati, Cincinnati Art Museum, Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati Book Arts Society, Borders, and the Library. We're also raffling off Frisch's gift cards. Rufus and Big Boy will be attending the party too!
If you’re interested in having Sabuda sign a copy of one of his books, stop by the Library Friends Gift Shop. They have plenty of copies of his titles for sale.
