Mark your calendars! On Saturday, November 1, the 2nd annual Books by the Banks: Cincinnati USA Book Festival will take place at Duke Energy Center from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The day-long festival will feature over 100 local and national authors, book signings, author panels, and activities for the entire family to enjoy. All events are free and open to the public! Attendees will have the opportunity to meet authors and to purchase signed copies of their books. A commemorative Books by the Banks poster, by artist/illustrator C.F. Payne, will also be available for purchase.
The Authors
Authors scheduled to participate include:
- Anthony Swofford. Author of Jarhead, the New York Times bestselling memoir of military life and Exit A: The Novel.
- Jennifer Crusie. Author of many bestselling romances including Agnes and the Hitman.
- Virginia Willis. Kitchen director for “Martha Stewart Living Television,” producer for “Turner South’s Home Plate,” tester/editor for The All-New Joy of Cooking, and the author of Bon Appetit, Y’All! Three Generations of Southern Cooking.
- Ellen Schreiber. Author of Teenage Mermaid, Comedy Girl, and the Vampire Kisses series.
- Loren Long. The New York Times bestselling illustrator of The Little Engine That Could, Mr. Peabody’s Apples, and Drummer Boy.
