Madeline & Rufus the Library Reading Dog
Children’s Book Week, a national celebration of the written word and the joys of reading, has been celebrated by educators, librarians, booksellers, and families since 1919.
This year some popular storybook characters will be visiting various Library locations for hugs, stories, and photos. As a kick-off to Children’s Book Week, Max the Bunny will be at the Cincinnati Zoo during Zoo Babies on May 10 and 11 from 11:00 a.m. — 3:00 p.m. Besides Max, Corduroy Bear, Pokey Little Puppy, Madeline and Rufus the Library Reading Dog will be visiting a branch near you!
