Poetry in the Garden Series

The “Poetry in the Garden” series, sponsored by the Friends of the Public Library, returns to the Reading Garden Lounge (1st floor, South Building) at the Main Library this spring. Talented poets from the Tristate will read from their work and share their love of poetry every Tuesday in April at 7:00 p.m.

“Poetry in the Garden” opens April 7, with reflections from one of the founders of the Series, retired Library employee Robert Hudzik, and concludes April 28, with an encore performance from Little Pocket Poetry, a local group founded to encourage and celebrate the slow enjoyment of poetry—one poem at a time.
