U.S. Navy's Little Giants in History's Biggest Sea Battle - Taffy Three's Greatest Moment: The Battle Off Samar
World War II veteran Ted Gardner commemorates the 65th anniversary of the Battle of Leyte Gulf by discussing his task force's participation off Samar. Sponsored in part by the Greater Cincinnati Council of the Naval League of the United States, United States Naval Academy Alumni Association, and The Tri State Warbirds Museum.

WW II pilot Don BrandtThe 55th Annual Veterans Day Program: Periscope Rescue Off Guam
World War II U.S. Naval Air Corps veteran Donald C. Brandt will share his harrowing tale of being shot down over the Pacific and his epic rescue while under Japanese fire when he lassoed a submarine periscope to be towed to safety. The program will also feature patriotic music performed by the Walnut Hills High School Choir, presentation of memorial wreaths by veterans groups, lighting the Flame of Remembrance, Sons of the American Revolution Color Guard, and playing Taps.
