Browsing for treasures at the Warehouse
The Friends of the Public Library are hosting their annual End of Summer Used Book Sale at their Warehouse (8456 Vine St. 45216) from August 15-18.
Shop for low-priced hardback and paperback books for adults, teens, and kids on a wide range of subjects, including gardening, cooking, collectibles, bestsellers, mysteries, history, biographies, crafts, etc. CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, audiobooks and vinyl records will be available for sale as well! Cash, check, MasterCard or Visa are accepted.
Proceeds from the sale help support adult and children’s programs, and the purchase of special library materials and equipment.
Thursday, August 15, 10:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
Friday, August 16, 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
Saturday, August 17, 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
Sunday, August 18, 12:00 noon–5:00 p.m.
In commemoration of the upcoming 50th anniversary of death of President John F. Kennedy, we are featuring hundreds of books and other items by and about the 35th President. Scrapbooks, clippings, vintage newspapers and magazines are included. Books about the family, the administration, and the assassination and its theories also will be available.
Sunday will be Half-Price Day for members of the Friends only. Members will receive a 50% discount on their entire purchase on Sunday, August 18. Memberships may be bought or renewed at the check-out table. Please note, there is no Bag Day at this sale.
