Hendon, Library Board of Trustees President, join some Summer Reading winners on the field at the Great American Ball Park July 31 to celebrate the conclusion of the summer reading program Reading Rocks! Nearly 38,500 readers of all ages took on the challenge of the Library’s 39th annual program. From June 1 to July 31, the Library’s youngest Superstar Readers read more than 500,000 books while teens and adults logged over 2 million hours of reading.
