I read this book again once I found out it was the OTSP selection.
It is very moving and well written account from the point of view of someone with Asperger’s Syndrome. I have a relative with this disorder and could really relate to the boy’s and parent’s feeling or lack of feelings in the case of Christopher. What a great way to make people aware of this disorder and how it affects us all.

Even though this book is written from the point of view of a character who doesn’t understand ordinary emotional interaction, it’s a very emotionally involving novel. You can’t help being caught up in Christopher’s painful quest to understand what happened to his neighbor’s dog—and what happened to his own family. Don’t miss this book!

I read this book last year for my book club and I thought it was
well-written and very interesting. I am going to read it again!
