The Hunted
Wealthy Russian entrepreneur Alex Konevitch makes a life-changing decision when he hires Sergei Golitsin, former deputy director of the KGB, to handle his corporate security. Golitsin and a gang of KGB thugs kidnap and torture Alex, forcing him to sign over his millions as well as control of the company. Alex and his wife flee to America, only to be accused by the Russian government of stealing money from the state. Haig takes a break from his Sean Drummond series (Man in the Middle, 2007) to pen this thriller inspired by a true story.
