VH1 Storytellers
He has played everything from glam rock to heavy rock, from Philly soul to cutting edge experimental; from his first recording in 1967 to the present, the remarkable David Bowie, known as the musical chameleon, has wowed generations of rockers. In search of the man behind the legend, the VH1 TV series Storytellers, produced in the late 1990s, gave artists the opportunity to perform their music and tell stories, in an intimate setting, about their lives, their memories and the making of their music. Bowie’s comments mixed with hit songs such as “Rebel, Rebel, “China Girl”, “Always Crashing the Same Car” make this combination CD/DVD a double delight for Bowie’s many fans.
