Dandy Warhols Are Sound
The American rock band Dandy Warhols with their mix of 1960's Velvet Underground psychedelia and “smacked-out guitar washes…are one of pop music’s most inspired and musically infectious bands, embodying the hedonist artistry of rock’s past.”(CDuniverse) In 2003 Capitol Records released the band’s fourth studio album, Welcome to the Monkey House, a remix edited version of the tracks the band originally submitted. The 2009 Dandy Warhols Are Sound is the album equivalent of a “Director’s Cut” of their 2003 recording.
