The award-winning public radio program, This American Life, hosted by Ira Glass, former reporter for NPR’s Morning Edition and All Things Considered, is now a Showtime TV series that comes off as a combination reality show, news story and traditional documentary. Season 2 draws on stories narrated by average Americans who share events that are a part of their everyday lives, sometimes bizarre, sometimes heartbreaking, often humorous.
