Guilty Pleasure
Child star Ashley Tisdale became a teenaged sensation with the role of babysitter Maddie on Disney’s Suite Life of Zach and Cody and the role of Sharpay Evans, East High’s queen of theatre in the enormously popular High School Musical film series. The 24-year-old singer/songwriter has just released her second album, following 2007’s Headstrong, the album that hit #5 on the pop charts in the first week. The lead single on this sophomore album, “It’s Alright, It’s OK”, debuted On Air with Ryan Seacrest and quickly became the #1-selling hot dance single in the U.S.
