The newly formed Disneynature presents a remarkable and touching wildlife story that follows the events in the lives of three different animal families - Arctic polar bears, African elephants, and Humpback whales – for an entire year. Compiled from the huge amount of footage shot for the BBC Planet Earth series that ran 700 minutes, this 96-minute documentary captures both the beauty and the danger of the wild and the amazing resiliency of our planet’s creatures to raise their young and survive in some of the harshest environs on earth. Recommended for ages 5 and older.
