From The Top At The Pops
For the classical fan the PBS and NPR From the Top series is the place to turn for outstanding performances by America’s best, young (pre-collegiate) classical musicians. Now in its 10th anniversary season, the non-profit organization has teamed with our own Cincinnati Pops, led by the esteemed Erich Kunzel in his 44th year as conductor, to produce the first major label recording of the weekly classical program hosted by pianist Christopher O’Riley. With the future of Cincinnati Pops recordings uncertain (check the library catalog for over 80 titles) From The Top At The Pops, is sure to become a local and a national treasure.
