A Liss MacCrimmon Scottish Mystery
A Christmas toy craze brings murder to a Maine town in Dunnett's latest Scottish-themed cozy (following 2008's Scone Cold Dead.) Tiny Teddies are all the rage this holiday season, but most of the stores in the country are sold out of them--except those in Moosetookalook. Scottish Emporium proprietor Liss MacCrimmon suggests advertising the availability of the toys in the hopes that it will bring more tourists to town. It does, but it also indirectly results in the murder of one of her rivals, Gavin Thorne, who is found shot to death in his toy store. Suspenseful holiday entertainment.
