Multiple Grammy Award winner (15 and counting) Phil Ramone, whose illustrious credits include work with Barbra Streisand, Billy Joel, and Frank Sinatra, has produced a novel concept album featuring singer/songwriters from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. The artists, Burt Bacharach, Stephen Bishop, Kris Kristofferson, Kenny Loggins, Richard Marx, Paul Williams, and Brian Wilson, have each re-recorded one of their hits from the past and written a new song. Along with guest artists Peabo Bryson, Eric Clapton, Earl Klugh, and Willie Nelson who add their talents to the 15-track album, these seven songwriters under the direction of Ramone have crafted a delicious mix of old and new.
