Author James McManus, following his poker memoir from 2003, Positively Fifth Street, traces the history of poker: the social aspects as well as the interesting correlations between poker and politics. Among other things, you'll learn that "cowboys" is another term for "kings", a pair of fours are called "sailboats", and that a "fish" is someone who isn't so good at playing poker.
