Chosen by People Magazine as one of the “50 Most Beautiful People”, concert violinist Joshua Bell, like the late Luciano Pavarotti before him (The Duets), enjoys working with musicians outside of the classical realm. Inspired by the informal musical gatherings of friends visiting his Manhattan home, Bell and friends Sting, Chris Botti, Josh Groban, Regina Spektor, and Marvin Hamlisch recorded an eclectic mix of vocal and instrumental duets that include “My Funny Valentine”, “Eleanor Rigby”, Rachmaninov’s “Georgian Song”, and Ravi Shankar’s “Variant Moods”.
