Mountain Soul II
When the first Mountain Soul was released in 2001, the 14-track bluegrass album was unlike anything contemporary country singer Patty Loveless (cousin of Loretta Lynn and Crystal Gayle) had ever produced. This was the music of her Kentucky childhood, and due in part to the success of the movie O Brother Where Art Thou?, the album was an immediate success. Mountain Soul II is the highly anticipated follow-up with a supporting cast of luminaries that includes Emmylou Harris, Vince Gill, Al Perkins, and Del and Ronnie McCoury.
