The Gift
Successful executive Lou Suffern is a workaholic who never has time for his family. One cold morning, he buys a cup of coffee for a homeless man named Gabe and then offers him a job in the mailroom. Angelic Gabe has plans for Lou as well, and uses his magical powers to help Lou realize how precious the gift of time is. Irish author Cecilia Ahern (Thanks for the Memories, 2009) puts a spin on Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol in this heartwarming holiday novel.
