Popular Today Show correspondent and weatherman Al Roker (Big Shoes, 2005) cooks up a delicious debut mystery. NYC chef Billy Blessing has his own cooking segment on Wake Up America! until his executive producer, Gerry Gallagher, is found poisoned by one of his dishes. The Manhattan DA shuts down his restaurant and Gallagher’s replacement suspends him from television, so Billy becomes a sleuth to clear his name. “Snappy prose and well-developed characters will leave readers wanting to see more of Blessing,” writes Publishers Weekly.
