The well-preserved tomb of Seti I (son of Ramesses I and father of Ramesses II), located in the Valley of the Kings, was found in 1817 and featured colorful paintings and bas-reliefs that provided valuable insight into the everyday life and all-important death rituals of the ancient Egyptians. Deep beneath Seti’s tomb lies another tunnel currently under excavation by respected Egyptian archaeologist Dr. Zahi Hawass. Join the team of National Geographic as they follow this modern day Indiana Jones on a dangerous venture in search of Seti’s secrets.
