Cal Armistead

Armistead's debut is the story of an amnesiac teenager and his journey to self-discovery. When a 17 year old boy wakes up in Penn Station with no memory, the only clue to his identity is the book he's clutching, Walden by Henry David Thoreau. He decides to take the name Henry David, shortened to “Hank” and flees the city to Walden Pond to see if the author's life can offer him answers. There, Hank meets a tattooed, motorcycle-riding librarian named Thomas, who takes him under his wing and guides Hank on the path to discovering his true identity. When he can run no further, will Hank confront the tragedy of his life or seek the ultimate escape?
