The Geography of You and Me
Jennifer E. SmithSmith (The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight, 2012) delivers a love story about
16-year-old Lucy Patterson and 17-year-old Owen Buckley who live in the same Manhattan apartment
building, but don’t meet until they get stuck together in the elevator during a power outage. The two quickly form a connection, but when the electricity returns, so do real-life complications. They're pulled in opposite directions as Lucy and her family move to London and Owen and his father head across the United States. Although they're separated by thousands of miles, they can't forget each other, and it’s up to Lucy and Owen to engineer a way to meet again.
