Isla and the Happily Ever After
Perkins concludes the trilogy that began with Anna and the French Kiss (2011). Hopeless dreamer Isla has had a crush on Josh since their first year at the School of America in Paris. The summer before their senior year, when Isla is loopy on medication after a dentist appointment, she finds herself in the same Manhattan café as Josh. For the first time she's able to tell him how she really feels. Once they're back in France a relationship blossoms, but family pressures and uncertainty about their futures force the couple to confront the painful possibility that their relationship may come to an end.
