Preschool Prizes

Fill in a dot for every book read, when five dots are filled in, your child has completed a level. Once a level is complete, bring the game card to any library location and your child can collect their prize. Preschoolers will be able to choose a fun prize from a “grab bag” assortment. Preschoolers will be limited to 3 toy prizes. Once your child reaches level 4, they receive a book prize and an entry into our grand prize drawing for a Tough Trike! Keep reading all summer, for every additional 5 books read to your child they will receive another entry into our grand prize drawing.

Grand Prize Drawing

One lucky child from every library location will win a brand new Tough Trike. Thanks to the generosity of the Kersten Fund. 41 tricycles will be awarded.

Kids Prizes

Read one book or read for 30 minutes and fill in one dot. Five dots filled equals a level completed. Once a level is completed, take your game card to any library location and receive your fabulous prize! The Level One prize is a plush animal bookmark. The Level Two prize is a stretchy lizard and a jointed snake. The Level Three prize is a mini magic light key chain. The Level Four prize is a book of your choice. At Level Four and for every five dots completed thereafter, you will receive an entry for the grand prize drawing for a year-long basic family membership for a year to the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden.

One lucky kid from every library location will win a year long basic family membership to the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. Thanks to the generosity of the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, 41 zoo memberships will be awarded.

Prizes for Teens

Use your game card to keep track of the amount of time you spend reading or listening to an audio book. After you read for 6 hours, you win a Clock Memo Man! Just when you think it couldn’t get any better, read 6 more hours, and you get to choose a free book. When you receive your book prize, you will also enter your name for the Grand Prize, a $25 Gift Card to Target. Keep reading and for every three hours more, you will receive another entry for the grand prize.

One lucky teen from every library location will win a $25 Gift Card to Target, thanks to the support of the Friends of the Public Library.

Prizes for Adults

Use the game card to keep track of the books you read or listen to and fill in a dot for each one. When you have three dots filled in, you have completed a level. Bring your game card to any library location. At Level 1, you will receive a prize and an entry into the Grand Prize Drawing. You can win the Level 1 prize only once. The Level 1 prize is a coupon redeemable for one used book or audiovisual item of your choice, up to $3, for use at a Friends of the Library book sale.*

Keep reading! For every additional three books you read or listen to, you get another entry into the Grand Prize Drawing for a $25 Friends gift certificate. One lucky winner, chosen from entries received at all locations, will receive the Ultimate Grand Prize of a $100 gift card courtesy of Joseph-Beth Booksellers and a 1-year membership to the Friends of the Public Library.
