Teens – Recommended for grades 6-12

How to participate:

All you need to get started is to go online or sign up at any one of our libraries.

Beginning June 1^st, track your reading online. For every four hours that you read, you have completed a level. Once a level is complete, visit any Library location to collect a prize.

Teens can win the following prizes:

Level 1 – Book
Level 2 – Carabiner Key Chain
Level 3 – Ear Buds and an entry into the grand prize drawing

This year’s grand prizes are better than ever! Teens who reach Level 3 by June 30^th are entered to win a drawing for a family four pack of passes to Coney Island! If you reach Level 3 by July 31^st, you will be entered to win four tickets to a Cincinnati Reds game!

After you have completed Level 3, keep reading for the chance to earn more entries into the grand prize drawing! For each additional four hours read, you will earn another entry.

The teen who reads the most at each Library location will win a Nook Color!

Help us kick off Summer Reading! We’re hosting nine special kickoff parties just for teens at the following locations:

Bond Hill Branch	Friday, June 3^rd	4:00 p.m.
Reading Branch	Friday, June 3^rd	6:00 p.m.
West End Branch	Monday, June 6^th	4:00 p.m.
College Hill Branch	Friday, June 10^th	6:30 p.m.
Anderson Branch	Friday, June 10^th	6:30 p.m.
Teen Spot	Friday, June 10^th	6:30 p.m.
Westwood Branch	Friday, June 10^th	6:30 p.m.
Corryville Branch	Saturday, June 11^th	1:00 p.m.
Harrison Branch	Saturday, June 11^th	2:00 p.m.

We’ll have board games or video games, food, and music! Check each location for specifics.

Then be sure to visit your local library all summer to pick up books and attend some of our fun programs!
