Families
Did you know that entire families can register for Summer Reading with just one account? It’s easy, just follow these steps:
- Visit the registration page and choose which program you want to register for
- Click on “Sign Me Up”
- Fill in the registration form and click “Save”. If you registered for the program last year, click on “Signed Up Before?” and enter your username and PIN
- Click on the “Add Member” button
- Select the program that you would like to register your family member for from the drop-down menu and click “Continue”
- Fill in the registration form and click “Save”
- Repeat the process for all family members
When you log in, use the username and password that you created and manage your family member’s accounts using the drop-down menu at the top of the screen.
Groups
School groups, childcare centers, and summer camp groups have the option of registering as a group and managing each person’s reading from one account. Just follow these steps:
- Visit the registration page and choose which program you want to register for
- Click on “Sign Me Up”
- Click on “Click here to do a group registration”
- Fill in the registration form and click “Save”
When you log your group’s reading, enter the quantity of reading as the number of books / minutes / hours that each person read. For example, if each person in your group read for 1 hour, enter 1 in the “Quantity” field.
You can print out this chart to keep track of your family or group's reading.
