One lucky kid from every library location will win a special picnic outing at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botannical Garden on Thursday, August 10. This picnic package includes four complimentary Zoo tickets, a late afternoon snack and beverage, and a Wildlife Comes to You program at the picnic shelter. A total of 42 picnic packages (one per branch) will be awarded. Parking at the Zoo is not included.
Also, thanks to the generosity of The Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Chapter of Executive Women International, twenty bikes will be raffled off at the end of ReadQuest. To qualify for the drawing, kids must complete all four levels on their game card and submit their entry.
Use your game card to keep track of the amount of time you spend reading, listening to an audio book, attending a library program, or volunteering for the Library. After you read just 3 hours, you win a light-up pen! Three more hours and you win a CD holder and CD cleaner. Three more hours gets you a mini-portable radio. Just when you think it couldn’t get any better, if you read 3 more hours, you get to choose a free book and enter the drawing for the Grand Prize!
One lucky teen from every library location will win an invitation to an exclusive V.I.P. event at the August 12 Cincinnati Kings professional outdoor soccer game. Each teen will receive two tickets to the game, pizza with the team, autographs, a pre-game soccer clinic, and a team t-shirt.
