Kids, teens, and families are invited to stop by the Main Library’s Children’s Learning Center or any of our branches between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 10, for Make a Puzzle Day, our official ReadQuest kickoff celebration. We’ll supply refreshments and everything you need to personalize your puzzle!
We’re also hosting eight special after-hours kickoff parties just for teens on Friday, June 2 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Anderson, College Hill, Forest Park, Green Township, Harrison, Symmes Township, Walnut Hills, and Westwood branch libraries. We’ll have DDR, food, and music!
Lots of other fun programs and activities are going to be happening all over our library system this summer. Here’s a sample of the lineup:
- Invention @ Play, creative workshops for kids
- Test your skills during corn hole tournaments and carnival nights
- Participate in teen theatre camps
- Create paper mosaics, origami, jewelry, and clay pinch pots
- Meet local athletes
- Yu-Gi-Oh! duels
- Show off your best moves during our DDR, salsa, and African/Haitian dance programs
Stop by your local branch or use our program calendar to find out what’s going in your neighborhood this summer!
