How to participate

It’s easy! All you need to get started is the official game piece, which is available online and at all of our libraries.

Use your game card to keep track of the time you spend reading, listening to an audio book, or attending a library program. As soon as you’ve logged three hours or read five books, you’re eligible to win a prize! The more levels you complete, the more prizes you win.

Once you’ve completed a level, take your game card to any of our libraries to be stamped. Then pick out one of the fun prizes! When you complete all four levels, you win a free book and are entered in the grand prize drawing.

Once you’ve finished your first game card, pick up another one and keep reading! Even after you’ve completed your first game card, you’re still eligible to win a prize and enter for the grand prize drawing. Ask your librarian for more details.

Kickoff Celebration - Saturday, June 9

Need to keep your spy secrets safe? Send a message to the world with your own spy lair sign. Kids, teens, and families are invited to stop by the Main Library’s Children's Learning Center or any of our branches between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 9 to make a spy lair sign during our official ReadQuest kickoff celebration. We’ll supply refreshments and everything you need to personalize your sign and you do the rest!
