Preschool Prizes

Track your child’s reading online. When five books are read, your child has completed a level. Once a level is complete, enter your information online or at any of the libraries and your child can collect their prize. Level 1 is a pair of sunglasses. Level 2 is a squirt toy. Level 3 is a coloring book and crayons. Once your child reaches level 4, they receive a book prize and an entry into our grand prize drawing for an art easel! Keep reading all summer, for every additional 5 books read to your child they will receive another entry into our grand prize drawing.

Kids Prizes

Read one book or read for 30 minutes and track your reading online. Five books or two and a half hours read equals a level completed. Once a level is completed, enter your information online or at any library location and receive your fabulous prize! The Level One prize is a jump rope. The Level Two prize is a kite. The Level Three prize is jumping putty. The Level Four prize is a book of your choice. At Level Four and for every five books or two and a half hours read thereafter, you will receive an entry for the grand prize drawing for a Razor A3 Scooter.

One lucky child from every library location will win a brand new Razor A3 Scooter. Thanks to the generosity of the Friends of the Public Library.

Prizes for Teens

Go online and track the amount of time you spend reading or listening to an audio book. After you have read for 4 hours, you have completed Level 1 and will win a lanyard! Read 4 more hours to complete Level 2 and win a flash drive. Read 4 more hours, and you get to choose a free book. When you receive your book prize, you will also enter your name for the Grand Prize, an Insignia 720p camcorder. Keep reading and for every four hours more, you will receive another entry for the grand prize.

One lucky teen from every library location will win an Insignia 720p camcorder, thanks to the support of the Friends of the Public Library.

Prizes for Adults

Go online to keep track of the books that you read or listen to. When you have read or listened to three books, you have completed a level. At Level 1, you will receive a prize and an entry into the Grand Prize Drawing. You can win the Level 1 prize only once. The Level 1 prize is a coupon good for a free used book or audiovisual item, up to a $3 value, for use at a Friends of the Public Library or Anderson Township Library Association book sale.

Keep reading! For every additional three books you read or listen to, you get another entry into the Grand Prize Drawing for a $25 Friends gift certificate. One lucky winner, chosen from entries received at all locations, will receive a $100 gift card to Joseph Beth Booksellers and a 1-year membership to the Friends of the Public Library.
