How to participate:
All you need to get started is to go online or sign up at any one of our libraries.
Beginning June 1st, track your reading online. For every four hours that you read, you have completed a level. Once a level is complete, visit any Library location to collect a prize. Teens can win the following prizes:
- Level 1 – Book
- Level 2 – Coupon for a free 3-Way courtesy of Gold Star Chili
- Level 3 – Retractable Earbuds and an entry into the grand prize drawing
This year’s grand prizes are better than ever! Teens who reach Level 3 by June 30 will be entered to win 2 tickets to a Cincinnati Reds game! Teens who reach Level 4 by July 31 will be entered to win a $25 Gold Star Chili gift card or a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0!
After you have completed Level 3, keep reading for the chance to earn more entries into the grand prize drawing! For each additional four hours read, you will earn another entry.
Visit the Library to Power Up for Summer Reading! We’re hosting special parties just for teens at the following locations:
- June 01 at 2:00 p.m. Sharonville Branch
- June 05 at 4:00 p.m. Madisonville Branch
- June 05 at 6:00 p.m. Bond Hill Branch
- June 07 at 2:00 p.m. Westwood Branch
- June 07 at 6:30 p.m. Anderson Branch
- June 07 at 6:30 p.m. Green Township Branch
- June 07 at 6:30 p.m. Main Library, TeenSpot
- June 14 at 2:00 p.m. Deer Park Branch
- June 14 at 6:30 p.m. College Hill Branch
We’ll have board games or video games, food, and music! Check each location for details.
