Although we are clustered in these neighborhoods, the city is not as stratified as you might expect. Even in Bucktown, Little Bucktown, and Little Africa you will find many working class whites.

I live on Home Street, which is not far from the waterfront district and the residential area where many of my wealthy white customers live. Near my house you will find hotels, boardinghouses, shops, and the Colored Orphan Asylum.
