When all available copies of a title are checked out, or if a title is shelved at a library that is not in your neighborhood, a hold (reserve) can be placed on that particular item. Holds can be placed by phone, in person, or online. A valid library card is needed to place holds. If you have over $10.00 in fines and would like to place a hold, please contact the Library by phone (513-369-6900) or ask staff at your neighborhood branch to assist you. Holds may not be placed on reference material. Adult Only, Child Only, and Teen Only cardholders can place seven items on hold at one time. You will be contacted by email, text message, or phone when your hold is available.
