2nd Annual Cincinnati Library Comic Con

Whether you’re into anime or zombies, Superman or Batman, Star Wars or Star Trek, fans won’t want to miss the Main Library’s second annual Comic Con series, which runs from March 1 to May 10. We have awesome contests and programs, so check out the sidebar and below for more info!

Cincinnati Library Comic Con 2014 Main Event


This five-hour program will feature artist, writers, game creator, and event partner booths, a panel discussion with writers working in the field, free comic books in celebration of Free Comic Book Day*, the CLCC14 Drawing Contest Awards Ceremony, face painting, a board and card gaming area hosted by Gateway Games and More open to all ages, a kid’s gaming booth hosted by the Cincinnati Comic Expo, a Star Trek Redshirt Scavenger Hunt and Raffle, a 3DS Street Pass Gathering, Live Pac-Man, the chance to get your photos taken with your favorite television, movie, and comic book characters (Starfleet Officers, Stormtroopers, and Superheroes), the opportunity to find out what you’d look like as a zombie, and more!

*Available on a first come first serve basis. One comic book per person.

Where: 1st floor, South Building, Main Library

When: May 10, 2014. 1:00 – 6:00 p.m.

  • 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. - Star Trek Redshirt Scavenger Hunt
  • 2:45 p.m. - Star Trek Redshirt Scavenger Hunt Raffle Drawing
  • 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. - Live Pac-Man
  • 3:30 - 4:45 p.m. - Writer’s Panel – Inspiration & Process
  • 5:00 p.m. - The Cincinnati Library Comic Con Drawing Contest Award Ceremony

Guests will include: Brad Abraham, Chris Charlton and Assailant Comics, Steve Harmon and Harmon Comics, Ken Henson, Russell Ihrig, Ellen Schreiber, Scott Simmons, Darth Vader, the Mandalorian Mercs, Spider-Man, and more!
